Finding Alcohol Rehab Programs

Generally speaking, it is easy to find an alcohol rehab program near you. You simply look in the yellow pages or check online. However, if you have any difficulty, be sure to check with the U.S. Department of Health. The U.S. Department of Health has a division known as the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). SAMHSA maintains a great deal of information on alcohol abuse and alcohol rehabilitation services. SAMHSA has a directory of alcohol rehabilitation and treatment facilities located around the country. The directory includes more than 11,000 addiction treatment programs, including residential treatment centers, outpatient treatment programs, and hospital inpatient programs for alcoholism and drug addiction. SAMHSA's directory maintains listings for alcohol rehab programs designed for adolescents as well as adults.
